WebGIS

At IUB, a number of interactive Web Map Services (ARCIMS) for two HERMES target sites are up and running. These WebGIS applications can be accessed by all HERMES participants and provide an intuitive and interactive overview and direct access to HERMES relevant meta data and limited data such as:

• Basic maps coastlines, contours
• Bathymetry 30 second-bathymetric digital models, hill shaded relief
• Marine facilities and installations
• Cruise and project data
• Oceanographic data
• Seeps/reefs/pockmark sites, diapirs and mud volcanoes
• Hydrocarbon fields
• Tectonic structures, seismic lines
• Side Scan Sonar
• Geological maps
